Wyoming Workers’ Safety and Compensation Division Selects StoneRiver
Denver, CO, January 7, 2010 – StoneRiver, a leading provider of technology and strategic solutions for the insurance industry, announced that Wyoming Workers’ Safety and Compensation Division has selected PowerSuite® to replace its existing workers’ compensation administration system. PowerSuite will streamline processing, provide easier access to data, and offer better service to customers.
“We found the PowerSuite user interface, navigation and user experience to be the best fit for our needs,” said Steve Czoschke, administrator of the Wyoming Workers’ Safety and Compensation Division (WSCD). “In addition, as part of our research process, we examined a state fund using the same system and that visit turned into a strong determining factor. An onsite visit is a much more detailed reference check.”
“The fit between Wyoming WSCD’s requirements and PowerSuite’s capabilities was quickly apparent,” said Gary Sherne, president of StoneRiver – Insurance Solutions. “Wyoming WSCD required that the supplier have two systems in production, which posed no problem at all for PowerSuite. We foresee a successful implementation and even more effective administration at Wyoming WSCD.”
PowerSuite is StoneRiver’s Java-based workers' compensation system. It's a comprehensive solution that offers complete policy administration and claims management. Insurers can choose to deploy only the policy administration module, only claims management, or both, for an integrated solution.
