Columbia, SC, December 3, 2009 – StoneRiver, a leading provider of technology and strategic solutions for the insurance industry, announced today that United Commercial Travelers of America (UCT) has signed a contract to implement StoneRiver PRO Financial and Power2Pay systems.

UCT is a fraternal organization with local councils in 47 states, the District of Columbia and ten Canadian provinces. Because of the organization’s geographical reach, it will be using the multi-currency capabilities of the PRO Financial General Ledger.
“We chose StoneRiver because of our extensive reporting needs,” said Joe Hoffman, CEO of UCT. “We need to report in multiple currencies, we wanted to capture more financial detail, and we are required to comply with IFRS in addition to U.S. statutory reporting. Overall, we found that PRO Financial was the most cost effective solution for our needs.”

“We’re seeing an increase in interest among global organizations,” said Dori Luke, SVP of StoneRiver Financial & Compliance Solutions. “PRO Financial solutions empower insurers to meet increasing demand for precision reporting.”
The Order of United Commercial Travelers of America (UCT) is a fraternal benefit society that provides members with opportunities for local community service as well as insurance, discounts and other benefits.
