StoneRiver client is winner of Celent Model Insurer Award
Columbia, SC, February 11, 2009 – StoneRiver, a leading provider of technology and strategic solutions for the insurance industry, announced today that its client, the Church Pension Group, was recently recognized as a “Model Insurer” in the area of service. The Episcopal Church Medical Trust and Church Life Insurance Corporation, affiliated companies of the Church Pension Group, utilize the StoneRiver policy administration solution, which includes ID3 and ATS (ACORD Transaction Server), to create a web self service environment for group administrators.
The Church Pension Group initiated its Web Self Service project to provide its customers with an online environment for the processing group health and life transactions. This project involved the integration of multiple resources, in order to create a streamlined environment for processing transaction requests without manual entry of data.
"In an uncertain market, when competition is growing in intensity, having the right technology and business practices in place is more important than ever," said Craig Weber, senior vice president of Celent's Insurance practice.
"Church Pension Group was selected as a Model Insurer, in part, because their project demonstrated use of industry standards, improved agent/customer satisfaction, and higher staff productivity."
“We’re delighted that Church Pension Group was selected for this honor.” said Gary Sherne, president of StoneRiver – Insurance Solutions. “We’re also proud to have been a part of this effort which allowed us to do what we do best; working with our clients to bring transformational change to their customers.”
