Robert I. Lipp Named Chairperson of the Board

StoneRiver Announces New Board Member

Brookfield, WI, June 22, 2009 – StoneRiver, Inc., a leading provider of insurance technology solutions and outsourcing services, welcomes Robert I. Lipp as he joins its Board of Directors in the role of Chairperson on May 26, 2009. Mr. Lipp is deeply respected throughout the industry for his influential leadership of some of the world's largest financial services firms. While CEO of Travelers in 2003, he was instrumental in the successful merger of St. Paul Companies and Travelers Property Casualty Corporation.

Mr. Lipp currently serves on the board of directors for The Travelers Companies, Inc., Accenture, The New York City Ballet and Mass MOCA. He retired from the Board of Directors of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) in 2008 but continues as a senior advisor. He is also a Senior Partner with Brysam Global Partners, a private equity firm that specializes in consumer financial services in emerging markets.

Prior to his position as Chairperson and CEO of Travelers Property Casualty Corp., he held various senior executive positions at Citigroup and its predecessor companies. Mr. Lipp received his undergraduate degree at Williams College, his M.B.A. at Harvard and his J.D. at New York University.
