Need for administrative efficiency continues to lead IT initiatives

 Oakland, CA, August 5, 2010 – According to participants in StoneRiver’s fifth annual P&C Insurance Technology survey, the top business need that drives IT initiatives is overall administrative efficiency. Accurate risk pricing was the second need mentioned, with a tie for third place between access for distribution channels and optimizing IT operations. The StoneRiver survey asked chief information officers at U.S. property and casualty (P&C) insurance carriers about their companies’ priorities, IT direction, and status of services and architecture.

Trustmark Insurance Company, located in Lake Forrest, Illinois, has enhanced its national presence by using ID3 for its universal life products sold in New York.
