Gary Sherne, President and CEO
Gary has overall responsibility for all P&C, Life and Financial Compliance businesses. Gary joined the company in September 2006 with the acquisition of InsureWorx, where he served as the President and CEO since January 2001. Gary has over 25 years of management experience in core system solutions and services to the banking, payment and insurance industries. Before 2001, Gary served with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and TRW as Divisional Vice President and General Manager.
Costa John, Chief Financial Officer
Costa's key areas of responsibility include financial reporting, planning and analysis, and facilities. Costa previously held the position of CFO at InsureWorx and Chief Officer positions in two NASDAQ-traded software firms, Mediaplex and IMSI. He is a former consulting partner with Grant Thornton International, CPAs.
Gary Anderson, Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer of StoneRiver Inc., Gary is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business, directly overseeing three operating business units: P&C, Life Carrier, and Financial Compliance. Gary has over 30 years of experience in the insurance software industry.
Jim Woodward, Senior Vice President, Life Carrier Solutions
Jim is responsible for overall leadership of the Life Carrier Division, including solutions for Policy Illustrations, Underwriting, Electronic Applications, and Policy Administration. Prior to joining StoneRiver in 2008, Jim spent 25 years in the software and services industry serving as head of both Services and Development organizations primarily in the Life and Health sectors for companies such as EDS, PMSC, S2 Systems, and Trintech Inc.
Dori Luke, Senior Vice President, Financial & Compliance Solutions
Dori is responsible for overall leadership of the Financial and Compliance group. This unit provides both systems and outsourcing services to facilitate Annual Statement, Financial Management, and Unclaimed Property reporting. Before joining StoneRiver in 2007, she gained more than 15 years of leadership experience in the software industry--managing sales and services, product marketing, and OEM business partnerships. In each case, she contributed to steady growth of the organization.
Sarah Wheeler, Vice President, Human Resources
In addition to directing HR functions, Sarah consults with the businesses’ leadership on strategic analysis and initiatives with particular attention on the development of staff, managers and culture that supports the division’s success. Before StoneRiver, Sarah held a key role in Affirmative Action Planning Services for an employers' association as well as in roles in HR for a college, manufacturing and banking.
